CONNECTING THE ASEMPA GLOBAL MISSION TO PROJECTS
We do this in a project-oriented way that connects the dots for Asempa Partners:
- The Asempa Global mission is to nurture self-sustaining Christian communities of all kinds focused on learning, restoration, and servant-leadership.
- The Academy is a particular "real-time" project that checks the box for our mission and our partner, Hope Lutheran Church in West Seattle.
- We summarize this particular project's focus as "Giving Good News to Kids."
- As an Asempa Partner, your giving and other forms of support (prayer and advocacy) directly impacts the lives of children -- gives them good news! -- in tangible ways for learning, restoration, and servant-leadership.
PROJECTS FOR IMMEDIATE FUNDING -- A SAFE LEARNING ENVIRONMENT
We are just getting started with launching the Academy, so you'll notice a common theme to the fundraising:
- All projects for immediate funding in 2023 (and most likely beyond) are for a safe learning environment.
- Children cannot learn if they are not safe. Asempa Global Academy needs literal foundations, walls, roofs, desks, etc.
PROJECTS FOR 2023
- 4 Classrooms at $8,000/each
- Total fundraising goal for 2023 = 4 x $8,000 = $32,000
I Want To Give Big!
Everyone "gives big" in their own way.
Jesus once pointed out to his disciples that a widow who put a single penny into the offering was giving more than the richest people because -- for her -- the gift was all she had. "Giving Big" is about the heart and not the size of the gift!
Our job through Asempa is to simply remind each potential Asempa Partner to pause for a moment..... take a breath and be grateful.
We're serious! Since you're already here on this page, and have come this far -- take a breath.... Reflect on the ways that God has been good to you.
We believe good giving comes from a thankful spirit. No matter the size of the gift -- that's a big one!
